This is a Pair of Rare Antique Koch & Bergfeld 800 Silver Serving Spoons with Gold Wash bowls, twisted handles, and Faces on both sides of the top of the handle. These Spoon are marked with the Koch & Bergfeld mark used in the 1880s, A “Pedestal Vase” for Koch and Bergfeld Company, the number “800” for silver purity, a “crescent moon” symbol for silver and a “crown” symbol for production in Germany. These Spoons are also marked B. Knauer on the backside of the spoon bowl, which is the mark of the retailer. These Spoons are in Excellent condition with the Gold Wash in the Bowls also in Very Good condition. These Spoons come with the original presentation display box. The Box is marked inside with Ludwig Baltzer Jewelier Munster I. The Spoons are 8″ long by 1 3/4″ wide. The spoons weigh about 1.5 OZ each.
