New York, NY, sterling silver. 925 gold wash pierced bon bon candy nut serving spoon scoop, in the RARE c1880 No. 3117 pattern, & it is NOT monogrammed. The spoon has a scrolled end rod stem & foliate volutes with leaf form terminal, a pierced bowl with floral bloom center, & alternating addorsed scroll & fleur-de-lis. The handle & portions of the front bowl have some gold wash. The spoon measures approximately 5 5/8 inches long, weighs 1.650 ozt. Is marked 3117 sterling, along with the winged Shiebler mark, & THEO B. STARR silversmith from NY NY. The spoon is in good antique estate condition as follows. NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT SCRATCHING, WORN WASH, CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE. THERE IS GLARE & REFLECTION IN SOME OF THE 11 PHOTOS.
