This large and ornate sterling silver berry spoon is heavy and deeply embossed with a fruit design. The spoon has the hard to find Kings Pattern and was made by Bailey & Co. Well-known silversmiths of Philadelphia, in the 1860s. The bowl has a serrated edge and a deeply embossed fruit design. The handle has a twist pattern and wide top, where a three-letter monogram is etched. It has hallmarks on the back and the name BAILEY & CO. The spoon measures 9.25″ long and the bowl is 3″ by 2. The spoon weighs 67 grams. It’s in remarkable condition for its age, with just a little tarnish. It should polish up nicely, but I have not done this, knowing that many of my buyers prefer to do that themselves, or leave as is.

This is a set of antique Art Noveau Salad Serving pieces from Kingsbacher Brothers Jewelry of Pittsburgh, established in 1873. It is by Whiting, in their Violet pattern. Together they weigh (as best as I can determine from my scale) 175 to 180 grams or approximately 5. They measure approximately 9 inches long. The spoon has some indentations in the bowl as can be seen in the pictures. A beautiful, rare find.

Sterling Silver Serving Spoons Monogrammed AI Back of Spoons Inscribed August 1918 – Likely a wedding gift! Sterling Silver Marked HB 875 (Russian 87.5%) Size Approx: 7 Total Weight: 54.8 grams Condition: General use wear typical of age including scrapes and tarnishing; needs further polishing as shown. Please excuse the reflections. Nice antique/vintage silver servingware. Great for everyday use or your holiday table. PART OF A LARGER SET, SEE OTHER LISTINGS TO BUNDLE. Presented is a fabulous quality, solid sterling silver Cheese Scoop made by Gorham around the turn of the 20th century. The hand of this piece is ornately decorated and has letter initials engraved at the top. The back is marked for Gorham and STERLING very clearly. This type of Cheese Scoop is used for soft cheese’s like brie or blue. It’s a must have on any festive charcuterie board. This piece is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. There is minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, but no damages and no repairs. Please examine the photos and the video below as they are part of the description. Length: 8 1/2 inches.
