This beautiful berry spoon was made by S. The hallmark on the back of the handle (see photo) was first used in 1828. The pattern name is Repousse. The spoon has roses and various other flowers and leaves in the bowl and all over the handle. The pattern was also first introduced in 1828. The entire spoon is Sterling Silver, as marked on the the back of the handle (see photo). Kirk made 3 sizes of the berry spoon. This one is the middle size, and measures 7.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. It weighs 66 grams (see photo). I did not use silver cleaner on the spoon. There were some very tiny tarnish spots that came off easily with gentle soap and warm water. The piece was well cared for. The pattern is very similar to other repousse patterns by Stieff and Towle. I try to answer all questions by the end of the day. You must contact me before returning. Daisies flowers Rose Stieff.
