





Presented is an antique, 17th century, English sterling silver spoon made in London in 1622. The spoon is done in a classic’seal-top’ or apostle form. The top of the handle (the round seal portion) has an antique, pin-prick style monogram of the initials IM. This piece bears the crowned leopard’s head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver purity a date letter e for the year 1622 and a maker’s mark.
