The handle is finely hand engraved with flowers, leaves and scrolls surrounding a monogram of the letter M. The bowl is beautifully hand chased with detailed fruits and leaves. The back is marked with the crowned leopard’s head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king’s head, a date letter a for the year 1816 and a maker’s mark for Samuel & John Bridge.
